What cybacaT doesn't like about The Generous Squire:
I 've been to the GS a few times. Service is ok 6/10 Drinks a good selection 8/10 Location 8/10 Food 2/10 Most recently I took a group along and 2 of us had chicken burgers here and there were atrocious. Tiny bun, large chicken that seemed to be boiled, 1/2 litre of sauce, that looked like it was thrown at the plate as it was all over. I made a point of letting the staff know and was greeted with an unsurprised and a... View all feedback. What Fiona Hawke likes about The Generous Squire:
As soon as we walked in we were hit in the face with lovely smells coming from the kitchen. We were the only ones in the restaurant so were seated quickly. read moreThe Good Shepherd Pub offers a decent overall experience, with a good selection of drinks in a nice location. However, the food seems to be hit or miss, with some customers experiencing disappointing meals. The service has also been inconsistent, with reports of long waits and rude staff. On the positive side, the atmosphere is great for enjoying drinks with friends, and some customers have praised the generous portions, delicious flavors, and friendly staff. Overall, The Good Shepherd Pub seems to be a mixed bag, with some aspects worthy of a visit while others may leave something to be desired.
