What Chizzel likes about The Brisbane Hotel:
I have been to Brisbane Hotel previously but put off due to overcrowding. It's not pleasurable at all when you are shoulder to shoulder and can't even make it to the bar. Luckily on this occasion, I visited on an early Friday arvo this time and although busy, there was lots of room to move around and could easily get a drink. The outdoor settings are great here and we managed a table in the beer garden. They also had... View all feedback. What Julie S doesn't like about The Brisbane Hotel:
Used to be a great place for Sunday lunch not anymore! Asked for a table under the trees when the booking was made. Was given a table on the outside of the Alfresco area which was in the sun as the afternoon progressed. Opted to go inside to eat. Staff was excellent and very helpful and obliging. read morePretty good for pub food. Generous portions, fast and efficient. Great start to a night out with friends. Pretty clean and the service is good.
The Brisbane Hotel is one of Perth's most easy going, welcoming modern pubs, with those 'old school' pub values and a regular buzzing clientele.
The Brisbane is one of those places that I can't help but go back to.
I met a few friends here in the courtyard last month, for a pleasant evening of food, chat and wine.

read moreThe Brisbane Hotel offers a cozy atmosphere with a fireplace and whisky steaks, making it an ideal spot for a winter evening. However, some guests were disappointed by the loud music that made conversation difficult. Despite this, the wait staff were friendly and attentive. The menu offered good choices, although some found the prices high for a pub with no table service. The outdoor space was praised for its comfort, but some found the cheese board lacking in portion size. Overall, the Brisbane Hotel is a great spot for drinks and casual dining, especially during quieter times like mid-week. The service was excellent and the food received positive reviews, making it a recommended spot for a relaxed night out with friends.
