Description

St. Larry, located in the state library, offers a small menu but provides a beautiful place to relax and enjoy a bite to eat. Reviewers praised the Portobello mushroom sandwich, zucchini and feta salad, and the delicious smoked salmon bagel with dill-flavored salmon and cream cheese. The coffee received mixed reviews, with some finding it bitter while others enjoyed specialty drinks like the almond milk dirty chai. Despite the small menu options, St. Larry seems to be a popular spot for a quick meal in a cozy setting, with friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Best smoked salmon bagel I have ever had! Salmon was thicker than the usual and flavoured with dill. Perfect amount of cream cheese, and an almost pretzel like (but perfectly soft on the inside) toasted bagel. Almond milk dirty chai, was delish and had me bouncing off the walls!

This is such great spot to sit and enjoy a bite to eat and read the newspaper...if only the coffee was drinkable though :( I visited when it first opened and while I enjoyed the (very reasonably priced) little breakfast wrap of scrambled eggs and chorizo paste, the long black was so bitter and ashy. I went back recently to give the coffee another go but again, it was unfortunately no better than my first visit. It's such a nice spot though so I'll go back for the food and maybe a cup of tea instead...

Got lunch here last week and while the portions look small, they're surprisingly filling! I had the zucchini and feta salad which was prepackaged so great if you need to grab something on the run. My friend had the mushroom sandwich/burger which she really enjoyed. Both items were a little on the pricey side but the flavours were good and the wait staff were friendly.

I paid $6.80 for a chicken sandwich that spoke to the man on the switch because I thought there was a mistake. the owner cried there is chicken everywhere. if it were more huh, it would be a chicken steak. Don't eat here, go next door.
