This is a cosy dim lit Japanese restaurant located in Northbridge. They have plenty of share plate style dishes to choose from. We ordered the Nori Tacos which were amazing the salmon belly was so soft and juicy. Miso Toothfish was also nice and delicate to eat the flavour of the miso was well immersed through each bite. The Kingfish Carpaccio was probably the favourite dish here. Perfect place for group settings or even a date night. Service and atmosphere was top notch.
Expensive for what it is. They were out of most of the vegetarian options which we wanted, which was a bit bizarre. They obviously don't make it fresh onsite. Got the mushroom taco which arrived cold three times. Gave up on the third time and ate it. It was fine, but $14 for one taco is a lot. Fish and chips tapas was also just fine. It's all deep fried, so not that difficult to make. Service was a bit slow, and there wasn't much of an atmosphere. Service: Dine in

Food 4/10, Ramen was really watery, next to no noodles, which were stale. All the seafood ingredients very of poor quality and obviously from frozen. Including battered crab and prawns with the heads and tails on is an odd, unwelcome choice. Good spice level and large portion but all show and no go. FLC chicken highlight of the night. Well cooked and a nice sauce Goro chips not the best, not the worst, not my cup of tea. Cooked well just the actual vegetable was a bit earthy for our tastes. Nori salmon taco pretty good, mostly filled with rice and a little bit of salmon on top. Tasty and held its form surprisingly well. Solid but not worth the cost. Bad service at a not busy time. Tacky interior. Have liquor in the name but is very limited on Japanese drinks, they do have Sapporo on tap though. Overal, give it a miss, many better places in the CBD. Ps: all the QR codes in the restaurant don’t work because they forgot to renew the URL licence.
