Started coming to this place as it's down the road from my office, and now attend frequently for everything it has to offer. The mac and cheese balls are my favourite, but the other bites and burgers are awesome. It's a hot day (it's currently a very sunny 32) and if I wasn't working, it'll be a great time for beer and chicken wings. Sadly, I had to settle for just chicken wings. Mad Dog's was another recommendation by a friend and tucked away towards the end of the terrace, it's not a bad one. Thankfully the building is air conditioned and relatively quiet when we went in. $14 for a half dozen and $24 for a dozen of wings and there's 4 different flavours. They also had a small variety of burgers and sides which I would definitely like to try out next time. We tried the "ignition" (very crispy, by far my favorite), "ain't nothing to cluck with" (wings tasted great without the blue cheese dipping sauce, sauce itself seemed watery and not very appetizing) and the "hot lime wings" (also very yum!). Overall the food is yum but the service was abit lacking. Other than to tell us we had to order at the bar and to put our food on the table, our server pretty much disappeared and we had to figure out for ourselves that we had to get our own cutlery and water. Would still want to try this place again just to try out the rest of their menu.
Great food and drinks! Burgers were yummo as were the wings. Had an awesome mojito with lots of mint. Waitstaff ensured we had everything we needed, even kept an eye on us as he brought over some extra napkins.. Definitely cheered up the Monday blues.. Awesome tunes and chill vibe.. will check this place out on Weekend nights
First impressions.. SHOCKING Walked in on a Monday night, the music was so loud I thought I was entering Live clothing. Ignored, we sat ourselves down and checked out the menu which was so basic (like your ex) burgers, fries, wing, or salad.... So we decide to order the $15 burger and fries special. My friend goes to the bar to be told that there's no lettuce for our burgers, there's no "juice" or lime which leaves his drink choice "limited" AND then 10 minutes later after ordering, we get told there's no pickles but "don't get upset at me I'm a causal, Iv only been here 2 weeks"... Well thanks for that friendly bar man. As my friend couldn't have a mojito he opted for the espresso martini which was terrible leaving the glass half full. The food came out within 15 minutes. The beef in the burgers wasn't too bad but the burger itself had been filled with onion to compensate for everything else missing! Overall was so disappointed!... read more

The kitchen is constantly adding specialty items to the menu that are always amazing, and I've never been able to fault the beers or the service. Ben is one of the nicest bar owners I know - constantly happy and keen to do the little things to make your day or week a bit better. Get him to swing on the rope...
Had an awesome meal here, the burger combo was good value with a decent burger and goos fries for $15. My partner got the chilli lime wings which were amazing! Deliciously sticky ans crispy! They also have an awesome variety of beers on tap for anyone who loves a craft brew.
