The chicken at Gami is fresh and delicious, accompanied by excellent side dishes! The prices are reasonable, and the staff is very friendly. My partner and I have visited Gami many times, and we've enjoyed every single experience!
I came to this spot with my friend last Friday night. I been to the Melbourne one before and had a great experience eating fried chicken there so I thought I'll do it again to satisfy my craving by coming here again. I'm so glad by the way that gami has opened two stores here in Perth.<br/ <br/ Well upon looking at the menu, I knew what I wanted. Me n my friend ordered the boneless chicken recommended for two people. In terms of flavour we went for soy garlic and Spicy. Both flavours tasted very good. I was enjoying every bite of the crunchy chicken. But Spicy chicken need to be more Spicy, haha. We also ordered the potato heaven. And Omg it tastes absolutely divine!! The sweet chilli sauce mixed with the potato mash n cheese just gives that depth of flavour needed for this dish. It was a party in my mouth! Also the potato wedges with sour cream on top is just an added bonus. I felt so full after eating just half of it, as it comes in a large serving but so delicious! <br/ <br/ Also the fried chicken is more than enough for 2 people. We were so full that we had to pack the rest of it. It also comes with coleslaw salad mixed with Mayo. It tastes really fresh and flavourful. Normally I don't like salads but I was impressed with the taste of this. All around a great place to come and chill with friends after hitting the pub. Staff is lovely and friendly. Good seating arrangements in place. But only downfall is it closes early. I would love this place to be open till midnight but the staff has a life as well so I understand. But the Melbourne branch is open late nights so I would love the Perth branch to step up as well in terms of closing time.<br/ <br/ I paid $53 in total for the meal, which is not bad. They serve good beer as well, I mean Korean fried chicken n beer is a match made in heaven! So next time I come here, I'll definitely try their cheese corn and Khimchi pancakes. Till then, ciao!<br/ <br/
The chicken was incredibly crunchy, but the sweet chili chicken had too much sauce for my taste. Thankfully, the rice helped balance out the flavors. The Potato Heaven definitely lives up to its name!
Best korean fried chicken in Perth and may I add the best possible corn cheese?!Even the spicy rice cakes were good! The flavour we got was soy garlic, normal yangnyum (korean name for sauce) and the spicy one. They were all so goodI would 100% returnEven the restaurant itself had nice vibes to it
Went in for the lunch special $15 for a main soft drink). It was nice, I had toddler in tow so didn’t order what one would traditionally order from a fried chicken joint but they did a great job with the chicken and egg fried rice. Katsu chicken yes yes I know it’s not Korean) was also good. Price wise, though? A little bit too high for the portion you get. Overall a good experience. Friendly service too
