Reviews summary
A recent visit to the restaurant Chime left our group with mixed feelings. While some enjoyed the meals, others were disappointed with the quality of the food. The service, however, was a standout positive aspect of the experience. Despite a mishap with trying to bring in their own wine, the staff were friendly and attentive. Some guests had a negative experience with food poisoning after their visit, which was not handled well by the management. On the other hand, those who used vouchers or booking deals found the experience to be pleasant, with delicious meals and good service. Overall, Chime offers a range of experiences, from disappointing to delightful, depending on individual circumstances.

We went today and used a Scoopon. What a good surprise! Service and food were excellent. We had bruschetta, pork belly, stake, and the desserts were delicious (specially the sticky date pudding). I totally recommend it! View all feedback.

We had just dinner in the ok restaurant on the street, and the young wanted the end of the asia pacific football final (or whatever it is.
Ok, northbridgians (this is totally a word now) if you are after a bit of a fantasy night from mentality (also a word) of regular.
As far as parmies are concerned, I was in favour. it was not a chicken breast, as advertised on the menu, it was a piece of tasteless processed bun served with a more generous side of over salted of chips. the squid was good ok, but again served with the over salted chips and you could only count the squid rings on a hand.

Disappointed with such poor quality food, a rebellious streak started to emerge from our little group. By this time our over-priced bottle of average sparkling was well and truly empty so we decided it would be a fabulous decision to sneakily pop open our remaining bottle of Cattier from high tea. Anyone tried to open champagne sneakily? After a delayed and unsuccessful attempt at smothering that wonderful popping sound with laughter and coughing, the bartender scurried over to inform us we cannot drink our own bottle. We offered to pay corkage but she wasn’t willing to bend the rules. Fair enough. One of my girlfriends surprisingly managed to squeeze the cork back into the bottle, only for it to pop out later at an impromptu time during our drive home whilst traveling on the back seat. Needless to say the car still smells like celebrations!
