Tonight, we visited this restaurant for the first time with a group of friends as we are acquainted with the owner. I was unsure of what to expect since I have never tried Lebanese cuisine before, but I must say that we were pleasantly surprised by the amazing food we were served. While I am not a food expert, I have worked in the hospitality industry for the past 9 years and I can confidently say that I could not find anything to fault in our meal tonight. We were all extremely impressed by the delicious food, Lebanese wine, and service. Everyone agreed that it was one of the best meals we have ever had. If you have never experienced Lebanese cuisine, I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Even if you have tried Lebanese food before, I guarantee that you have not experienced anything as good as this in Perth.
I must say, this restaurant is a hidden gem. It is absolutely fabulous and truly authentic. I had a wonderful experience, especially with the Lebanese red wine, which was quite special. The food is incredibly fresh and delicious, with amazing flavors that are complex and layered. It is a truly delightful experience, and the bread is highly addictive! If you haven't tried Chee Tayab yet, you are missing out. I highly recommend it, as the staff is experienced, attentive, and genuinely care about your dining experience.
Do yourself a favor and visit Perth's newest Lebanese restaurant, Chee Tayeb (under new ownership). The service was outstanding, with Peter being a fantastic server who went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful evening. He consistently topped up our fresh bread throughout the meal and even treated us to a complimentary cardamom coffee at the end. The food was delicious and authentically Lebanese. I highly recommend trying the share plate to sample a variety of dishes. We will definitely be returning!
