Crazy tasty chicken rice. large portions at $8.90 and it is worth it. the chicken was plump, fragrant and super aromatic. the accompanying sauce was spicy and tangy and gave the rice a fantastic stamp. my friend had the black bell suppe and loved her. will definitely go back and taste other dishes. I hear her Shanghai dumplings are good. View all feedback.

A great little spot inside the food court of 160 Central (between St Georges Tce and Hay St). I have no idea what the hot box food is like but the fresh noodles to order are excellent. It attracted my attention as it's always full of Chinese people slurping noodles. Aside from the main menu there are a few noodle options on large pieces of paper next to the main board which were a bit confusing - so I tried to ask the lovely counter staff but the girl's English just wasn't quite there though she admirably tried a few times before an older lady came and sorted me out. I ascertained that the Taiwanese noodles were white but wheat noodles and the Sichuan was simple the same noodle with a spicier sauce. I of course got the Sichuan and chose BBQ pork as my meat - it took about 10 minutes but I got a huge @plate with a delicious sauce and lots of coriander and spring onion on top, great! There wasn't many vegies but I'm not a fan of the overly common serves of bok choy so I was fine with that - the noodles were slightly overooked but only by a touch and given the endless horde in line they did well to keep up. Certainly not stingy serves and they offered extra hot sauce when I collected it. I was really happy with my experience here. At about $13 it's good value too, especially if you are starving.

Very tasty chicken rice and good price too! ($8.90) perfect lunch on the go and convenient location too. Highly recommended! Definitely give it a go if you are in the area
In comparison to similar foodcourt style of rice + 2/3 choices of dishes, BBQ Noodle House could perhaps be one of the most decent and value-for-money I had eaten. At only $9.80, you got a large portion of rice + 3 dishes. They were generous in the portion. Presentation of the food displayed could be improved as some really looked unappealing. Staffs were polite. Taste was not too bad either, yes it could be better and all, but in comparison to others in similar genre, and with the price you were paying, I would come back!
Its stock standard ok. Soups are fine and a much better pick up than most soups that are on offer for winter at the moment. Not too heavily priced either. I just dont feel that they wipe their tables properly, its a little sticky and weird.
