The two young girls who cooked and served us were friendly and attentive, making sure we were comfortable. The food was served quickly and efficiently. We enjoyed lentil soup, macaroni, garlic bread, chips, apple pie with custard, an Irn Bru, and a coffee with a biscuit for my dad who wasn't very hungry. I thought the portion sizes were perfect and the food was delicious. The bill came to £11, which was very reasonable. I can't wait to bring the rest of my family back. The drive from Perth was worth it, especially with plenty of free parking next to the hotel. Thank you for providing a wonderful and friendly experience in such a lovely setting. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Thank you, Ian.

Visited the Alyth Hotel with a friend for afternoon tea today. Fantastic! For an incredibly reasonable £21 we received a three tier selection of beautifully presented, fresh, home made sandwiches and cakes and with Prosecco! The perfect portion size for two, we cleared the platter (so no waste) but left feeling full. The atmosphere was cosy and friendly. The owner, Stewart, was attentive and charming and the family friendly atmosphere was warm and welcoming. All in all a wonderful experience. 10/10

I went to dinner last night and the food was incredibly delicious. There were several vegetarian options to choose from and the service was amazing. I will definitely be returning!

We wanted to try this place on the first night we moved to Alyth and are both vegan. We were delighted to see they had vegetarian options on their menu but it turns out they cook everything in BEEF FAT!! We have discussed reporting them to food standards and still may do this as people have dietary requirements for allergy reasons as well as personal choice. Absolutely ridiculous place
