It seems like burger places a... read more --- I read some reviews beforehand and decided to overlook the comments about prices—WB isn’t to blame for that, but JB might be. It seems like burger places are generally pricey these days, but don’t let those reviews deter you; the prices here are actually lower than what I found at most convenience stores. The beer selection is decent, and the prices align with my expectations. In fact, I found it much cheaper than what I had paid for similar products during my travels. I really don’t have anything negative to say about my experience. I always try to highlight both the positives and negatives when writing a review. The person at the counter was friendly and even took a moment to share a joke with me. I also appreciated the onsite meat case, which was a nice touch. Driving 40 miles for dinner is quite a commitment, and you really feel that time lost. However, the meat in the case was fresh, reasonably priced, and looked fantastic. Although I had a full fridge and didn’t need to buy any, I likely would have opted for the better quality here, especially since I’d done some prior research and could find similar or even lower prices elsewhere. This part of the state doesn’t have much to offer, so it was a pleasant surprise to discover a gem like Walter B's.

Your prices are not high compared to quality and the service is also the first rate. Anyone who puts a price on it will want more and more for less. I'm here to tell you that you're not hungry, no matter what you're buying. Period. And if you catch the kitchen on a free day all you need to do is mentioned .it and the owners will see to your satisfaction. I would have left five stars, but you can't.

The food is excellent, especially the hamburger.
