We had never visited this restaurant before and decided to try a little bit of everything on the menu. It turned out to be some of the best BBQ we've had in a long time, and the prices only made it more appealing. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially since we were first-time visitors. Although we had to wait about 15 minutes, the line was wrapped around the building when we arrived, so it felt reasonably quick given the crowd. It's an hour's drive from our place, but we're definitely considering going back soon.
There's nothing quite like Goodman's! The food is excellent, and the people are fantastic. It's definitely my favorite spot in town.
I just ordered the fried green tomatoes, and they were really disappointing. The breading came off as soon as I tried to take a bite, and they were quite underwhelming overall.
