This was our third year staying in Perledo. We have fallen in love with this beautiful village and its people. We go every morning to Bar Milano for our cappuccino and brioche and at least one weekend evening we go for dinner. Staff and so warm and friendly. Food is wonderful. If you are in the area this is a must go to. Price per person: €10–20 Food: 5
Tourists, be careful. A bus ticket costs you EUR 1,5 and the next day it's suddenly EUR 2.00. A cookie was shown to be EUR 1,5 but I was charged EUR 2.00. Don't be as stupid and coward as me and just confront them about the prices. It's visible though that English speaking tourists are not welcome there (maybe they are friendly with the ones who have dinner there). Just be confident and don't let them make a fool of you like I did. Service: 1
The pizza was excellent, with generous portions and paired with an amazing view. However, I was slightly disappointed to find that pizza was the only option on the menu. Additionally, I noticed I was overcharged on a few items—for instance, wine glasses were listed at 3 euros but I was charged 4 euros each. While it wasn't a significant difference, and I didn’t want to make a fuss in front of the owner and locals at the bar, it did leave me feeling somewhat taken advantage of. The service was efficient but unremarkable.
About a 40 min hike uphill from Varenna but well worth it. Pizzas were absolutely amazing and the view from the terrace is stunning. Best pizza I ate in Italy so far. Staff were very friendly, we attempted to speak Italian which was appreciated, staff spoke English but we figured it was nice to make an attempt at Italian first : Funghi pizza is a must try! Radler beer was very refreshing. Espresso was very good also. Price per person: €30–40
