Chili's - Peoria
Chili's
Description
At this restaurant, service quality varies widely, from friendly and attentive to rushed and unfriendly. While some patrons praised delicious burgers and tasty shrimp tacos, others were disappointed with overcooked meals, subpar side dishes, and high prices for mediocre food. Cleanliness is generally maintained, though some diners encountered issues with dirty utensils. Compliments also go to the complimentary chips and salsa, adding a nice touch to the meal. Overall, this establishment has the potential for a satisfying dining experience, but inconsistency in food quality and service may deter some guests from returning.

I asked for a different flavor of wings, and although that order was warmer, it still wasn't very hot. The restaurant was fairly busy, so we tried to be patient. In the end, we ended up taking the cold and lukewarm wings home, reheating them, and eating them there. Unfortunately, we won't be going back to this location at Grand and Bell Rd. Just being honest!
The service was good, and the food was decent, but what really held it back from being a 4 or 5-star experience was the price. Nearly $20 for a 6-ounce sirloin feels like a rip-off, especially when the side salads I received were wilted and unappealing, and the ranch dressing was diluted and lacked flavor. For a $20 meal, I expected much more and would rather choose a more affordable option next time.
From the moment we entered Chili's, we had some reservations, but the experience pleasantly exceeded our expectations. Although the staff seemed a bit low-energy initially, they quickly became friendly, courteous, and attentive once they reached our table. We both chose burgers from the menu, and they were cooked to perfection—absolutely delicious! Overall, our visit to Chili's was fantastic, and we’ll definitely be coming back.
I had a very disappointing visit to Chili's. Our server, Reilly (or Riley), was unfriendly and seemed in a hurry. He didn’t offer any drink refills, failed to clear our used appetizer plates, and didn’t bring our food or drinks to the table. Instead, he quickly took the tip I had left for the kind young lady who was actually doing all the work. The cups they gave us were dirty, and the tea had white specks floating in it, so we had to ask for foam cups instead. The food was also unsatisfactory; my friend ended up with an upset stomach, and I woke up with food poisoning the next morning. Thanks a lot, Chili's.
