Cleopatra Cafe - Penticton

Very good food. So good you should call ahead because they might have run out of food...which happened to us on a Monday evening. Went for lunch the next day and it was great.

Originally we were going to the sushi restaurant next door but it was closed. Boy are we glad it was!Cleopatra Cafe was incredible - I had the Grilled Chicken Breast platter. Rice, pita bread, tasty chicken, dolmades, hummus, and green salad and it was the most tasty meal I've had in years.

We ate out quite a bit at some very nice spots, but this was the crowning glory. The chef, and I don't use THAT term loosely, was amazing!!He treated the food he sent out like works of art. It was so delicious, and visually stunning. All we had was Humus and a Anatola pizza, but it was delivered and presented like it was the finest haute cuisine. They have a really adorable outside area to eat in, and the inside is decorated in a very eclectic manner. WE LOVED IT, and we will be back next year for sure. Very reasonably priced I might add. I highly recommend this amazing little place. They guy should be cooking at a 5 star. Well I guess he is, in my opinion.

Try saying that 5 times fast! Truly, the Falafal was out of this world! This Turkish restaurant was recommended by a family friend and man, was he right on or what? He is my new restaurant guru and I found the food to be out of sight. My family members, extremely picky foodie types who dislike meat immensely, just love this place and will talk about it for years! Can't wait to go back. Service was polite and location was great. Thank you, Cleopatra, thank you!

Ok, read the reviews of all the friendly staff- that's great they are friendly but that has nothing to do with their cooking abilities. I can't stand any restaurant that try's to play off someone else's food as their own. I eat these same domades 2x a week, least warm them up and take the can shape away. Chicken was totally dry. I guess I missed the friendly staff day. Won't try again.
