If you like a hearty meal of beautifully arranged spices then this is the must go of the Okanagan! The owner is funny and there’s always a sense of kindness the food he makes. Ignore the bad reviews and come see for yourself. The food is plenty flavourful and their portions are great! They also have an adorable patio :
The food was fabulous, but I just went for the cook and the owner? . He was thrilled and a natural comedian! Here is a photo of the Turkish Delight Aphrodisiac that he gave us, promising, it would do wonders for our love life. So much fun on Monday afternoon.

We ordered two platters between three of us and we had lots of leftovers! Platter was SO delicious and flavorful, and the hummus was probably the nest hummus I have ever had! If you’re in Penticton you need to eat here!!
Cleopatra Cafe is truly a hidden gem in Penticton and undoubtedly one of the most authentic and flavorful restaurants I have ever visited (and trust me, I've traveled and dined around the world). Even restaurants in Vancouver haven't reached the same level of quality as this one. The personal and intimate service is just one of the perks, complementing the incredibly delicious food. You can expect nothing less from a family-run establishment. Having grown up in the kitchen since I was five, working alongside my parents who juggled multiple jobs, I understand the struggles faced by hardworking individuals trying to succeed in a passion-driven field. It isn’t easy, especially if you don’t find success with a franchise. That’s why we need to support these local gems; marketing can be prohibitively expensive for small businesses! Whether you're vegetarian or a meat lover, they've got you covered with an array of options like lamb, falafel, and chicken. The hummus is unlike anything you’ve ever tasted, and the olives? Simply mind-blowing. I have no idea where they source them or if they marinate them in-house with some magical blend, but I can assure you, you won’t find olives like these anywhere else in the province. I could keep going, but I’ll spare you since I'm not a professional food critic. I just love delicious food and know what’s worth your time. Give it a try—whether you opt for the patio or takeout—you certainly won’t regret it!
