The Bench Market - Penticton
The Bench Market
Description
The restaurant in question appears to have mixed reviews when it comes to accommodating those with celiac disease. The establishment's menu is labeled as "gluten aware" which may not be sufficient for those with serious gluten sensitivities. However, for those who do not have gluten restrictions, the food is said to be quite good. The ambiance and service at the restaurant were generally praised, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Dishes like the loaded Eggs Benny were particularly highlighted as standout items on the menu. Overall, while there may be some concerns for gluten-free diners, the restaurant seems to be a popular spot for those looking for a delicious meal in a welcoming environment.

Got the vegan bowl and was very disappointed. There was no love given to the food from my point of view. The kale was uncut, un dressed and turning yellow. The Pattie’s tasted like lentils that had not been fully cooked. The other part of the bowl consisted of some dressing on the plate and a tomato cut in half with seeds on it. Sadly not worth the 30$ I spent x
The vegan bowl was great, also had a latte that was really good. The only thing I'd change with the vegan bowl was I'd ask for extra bread and an extra avocado half because they were delish.
We've eaten here quite a few times, never miss it on our way through penticton! Awesome brunch, amazing sandwiches, and friendly staff! It gets busy, but food this good is worth waiting and rubbing elbows for. Highly recommend it.
Really cute spot with outdoor patio. Delicious coffee and a few vegan items, very tasty.
Great location, friendly staff in a clean, funky little market style setting. The food is a tad pricey but you are getting quality eats and good portion sizes the coffee is excellent, which is hard come by in penticton restaurants. It'd be great to see the breakfast menu extended through the week with a few more options. Hands down one of the better spots in penticton.
