Great lunch spit especially if you can score a table outside. The paninis are excellent, crispy, chewy and cheesy. My only complaint is they close at 5 I really wish we could have the option of dinner here as well as lunch. View all feedback.
What Karina Carter doesn't like about Bench Market:
Not celiac safe. Even says right on their website there is no dedicated prep or cooking space so like most restaruants, obviously lots of risk for cross contamination. I'm sure it's delicious for people who are eating a gluten free diet as a preference but definitely a big no if you are gluten free for medical reasons. View all feedback.
We visited the bank yesterday with friends. the ambiente was great and the staff was very knowledgeable and welcoming. the beer was good, but eating was brutal. the chicken egg were brittle and the filling must have microwaved from the day before, the...Neo were stale and the pulled pork was hard and dry. the Caesar salad was good. we were so disappointed and would never eat there again.
Arriving feels like being shed during the auction. it is an unnecessary way to use. this has always been one of my favorite brunch spots, but unfortunately it is no longer up to its 5star rating. my smoked salmon benny had the smallest strip. of laughs on it, the on the side of yam and kartoffels were crispy and not even completely cooked, and the "english muffin" was soggy and more like dense brot shaped like an English muffin, but without taste and structure of an English muffin. childa rough and so disappointing know how good this breakfast was earlier. not necessarily worth the mega price increase to $22 for breakfast. I would have given it back, but I didn't want to be in touch again. No one comes by to see how you eat. they are too busy breeding. washrooms were dirty and ice-cold cold water to wash their hands. I would have given it 1star, but the delicious coffee was the only and only redeeming factor of my unpleasant experience.
The best breakfast around. The owner/host is excellent, likes to socialize and staff are fantastic. Not to be missed but go before 9am or it's very busy. On weekdays, the breakfast is a bit limited no eggs Benedict or poached eggs which are only...on the weekend menu. the food is a bit pricy. For 2 people and 2 latte's, it was just over $65 plus tip, we're into $75. But it is local cuisine and very good.
Quite disappointing. We had been here before for breakfast and just loved the selection and the original food choices. Today there were only 2 choices, the good food, like the bennies, are only available on the weekends. Fruit was mostly apples and melons. The coffee was...good. Beautiful setting.
Great coffee. I went there earlier before looking on here and ordered a panini on gluten free bread. Talked to them about being celiac and how certain things need to be cleaned and wrapped in parchment paper or something similar as it cannot be grilled on the same surface as gluten. They were happy to do that and it's been 7 hours and so far all is good
