My hu... read more This bakery is a treasure and Penola is so lucky to have it. This would have to be the best vegetable pie EVER and the vegetarian pastie was hard to beat. My husband had a simple meat pie and Cornish pastie and said they were...delicious and so good we came back the next day to do it all again. Staff very friendly and the cakes looked great too. Four big timber tables outside to sit and enjoy too. Congratulations to the baker!

Burned on the bottom, thick pastry, dried out at each end and the sliver of tomato sauce put on by the server was hardly there. Cheap at $3.70...but only part after pulling off pastry bottom and ends. So disappointed.

I must admit the Vanilla Slices and other cakes looked very tempting!
