What Gage Daniel doesn't like about diVine:
The tea varieties and the serving was very good. It is an honest little cafe that every town needs. Nice place to have a cuppa in between the VERY GOOD sights of historical interest in Penola. It is wheelchair friendly. View all feedback.
The staff whom served was very polite and friendly, the pancakes I ordered were very tasty and fluffy, filled my hungry stomach. The coffee was delicious, if you ever find yourself in Penola I'd recommend this place.
Stopped for a coffee. Located in the Main Street. The space is ok. They were hideously busy and pretty much run off their feet. The coffee was reasonable but with no particularly notable pluses. I sort of enjoyed the sit more than the drink itself. Left abruptly. There are world class wineries to visit.
How is it possible after running a cafe for over 20 years in a tourist town to make coffee this bad. I've forgiven **** take away coffee before but Di'vine has no excuse. We knew we were in trouble when it arrived faster than stirring Pablo into boiling water. And that's exactly what it tasted like. So bad I threw mine away.

These were succulent and very flavoursome. Even the foccacias and breads used were absolutely delicious. The reason is obvious when you look around and see a variety of "home made" goodies for sale, from biscuits to rocky road. These people know and like food and it shows in what they serve. Well above expectations and worth a visit.
Most places in rural South Australia are poor in terms of food choice and quality. However DeVine has very good food indeed. My wife and I had a pulled pork and a beef brisket on foccacia and they were delicious. Service OK too.
