Touch of Class offers an intriguing fusion of Caribbean flavors, standing out with a cozy ambiance marked by Bob Marley’s melodic strains. Diners rave about dishes like the jerk chicken, pumpkin bisque, and coconut shrimp, all bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. While the food receives high praise, service often falls short, with reports of inattentive staff and delays. Notably, a 4% credit card fee has drawn criticism for its perceived unfairness. Despite these service drawbacks, many agree the culinary experience is worth the wait, making it a memorable dining destination in Beacon.

In a surprising spot along the way to West Point, we discovered this delightful restaurant during a quiet moment. We indulged in crab cakes, a delicious filet mignon, and a shrimp plate, all of which were excellent. To top it off, the guava cheesecake was also fantastic.

Had lunch with the family in touch of class and eating was very good (as usual), but the waitress had a kind of setting that said don't you people know i 'm too good to serve them? .if we didn't know that eating here is so good if we weren't planning to entertain our foreign cousins, we would have given the moment when they gave us the menu. she obviously didn't want to serve us. By the way, when my 91-year-old father asked for a tooth-pricker, she pointed out to the bar and grabbed him that it was what they need and my 91-year-old father had to gimpen to the bar to find what he needed to teach the waitress something to maniac.

Touch if Class? More like touch of ass... April 1, 2022...every restaurant is packed. We can't get a seat anywhere due to a show at the paramount. Whiskey River, Rubens, Gleasons, Birdsall, Iron Vine...no seats available. I remember there is never anyone at touch of class so we go check it out and it was empty. Two other tables were occupied when we walked in. A women from the back of the restaurant came forward with a miserable look on her face and I said we'd like a table for two and she grunted and pointed to a table and left us with menus. I watched her as she checked on the other two table but never even looks back over at us. After 15 minutes she walked by and makes eye contact with me, same look of misery on her face and ignores us. I've never felt more unwanted in an establishment in my life. After 25 minutes of no drink order, no nothing we walked out. I always wondered to myself why is this restaurant always empty when the others nearby are booming, and now I know. Never again.

About ten days later, I returned to the area and decided to eat at the restaurant right next door. It was around 6:40 PM on a Wednesday, and to my surprise, it was closed, even though their website stated they would be open until 10 PM. They really need to update their hours. This is poor business practice and false advertising.

The chef's talent is truly exceptional. I've never experienced a dish as deep, perfectly flavored, rich, and invigorating as the seafood stew they offer. It's packed with an impressive selection of quality seafood: Mahi Mahi, large juicy shrimp, lobster, crab, scallops, and red snapper. The broth is creamy yet light, boasting a rich, salty taste with a touch of sweetness from the silky coconut and a refreshing kick from the scotch bonnet pepper. Fresh herbs like cilantro and a slice of lime add a hint of acidity. The colors are vibrant and eye-catching—bright oranges, reds, yellows, and greens. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and this dish; no words can truly capture its perfection.
