We went back and the menu was great, food delicious, service outstanding and got music to boot! A wonderful pianist played popular music with a jazz twist and straight jazz. All around a wonderful evening. View all feedback.
What Maddie dislikes about Division Street Grill:
I made a reservation for four people before a show at the Paramount, but when we arrived, the restaurant was CLOSED. So, the noise level was perfect—nice and quiet! View all feedback.
Amazing food, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere! It’s upscale dining without breaking the bank.
We visited on a Sunday and the food was outstanding. Ozzie provided excellent service and even allowed me to play some songs on the Baby Grand Piano. Cheers to a fantastic experience – we can't wait to return! Just a heads up, parking can be a bit challenging.
My wife and I received a warm welcome from Oxley when we arrived early for our reservation. He didn't mention our early arrival and kindly seated us “wherever we would like.” I immediately felt at home. I'm not sure if he was the owner or the manager, but he took great care of us. As a delightful bonus, some local musicians were performing that evening, enhancing the atmosphere. There’s a grand piano at one end of the dining room, which added to the lovely ambiance. We started our meal with the Fried Calamari and the Burrata, both of which were excellent. For our main courses, we had the Rack of Lamb and the Chicken Milanese; I would have preferred a pounded cutlet for the chicken. The Almond Raspberry Tart we had for dessert was outstanding, and the coffee was good and generously served. We can't wait to return for another visit!
The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. However, the standout feature of our visit was undoubtedly the food. We started with fried calamari as an appetizer, which was perfectly cooked. For the main course, I enjoyed the braised short rib, while my companion opted for the rack of lamb—both were incredibly tender and flavorful. The desserts were also fantastic! I highly recommend this restaurant for a lovely dinner date. The only downside was that the drinks, including the cocktail and martini, were quite small.
As always, the restaurant was clean, and the music was at just the right volume—loud enough to create a nice ambiance, but not so loud that we couldn't have a conversation. I've always admired the artwork displayed throughout the space. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and our food was served in a timely manner. For our appetizer, we shared some lentil soup, which was delicious but a little too salty for my taste. I ordered the salmon accompanied by steamed vegetables and jasmine rice, while my daughter opted for chicken fingers and French fries. She took a few bites of her meal before losing interest, so I ended up boxing up the leftovers. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal; the vegetables and rice were cooked to perfection, and the semi-sweet sauce on the salmon was simply delightful! I did try my daughter's chicken fingers and quickly understood why she wasn't impressed. The batter was a bit overcooked, and the chicken inside lacked flavor and had a rubbery texture. This was disappointing, especially since the portion size was adult-sized, which ended up being wasted. Overall, we had a satisfying experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others. The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is inviting, and the staff are friendly. Enjoy your visit!
