Taco Dive - Peekskill

It could have been a good experience but it started off so wrong. We waited for 15 minutes to even get anyone to come talk to us. The waiter we had seemed like he had been working there for a day and was fed up with his time there. I asked him what he suggested and what he thought about certain things and he just said uh I don’t know the wings and I don’t eat cauliflower. He told me the tacos were so small they were not worth getting. I asked for a steak bowl… they didn’t have steak. My boyfriend got the phili steak sandwich and that was pretty good. I ended up with the cauliflower bowl which was so bland it wasn’t worth eating. We got our drinks last and I got the certified margarita… it was orange juice with random flavors… just not good. The manager came and talked to us and tried to fix the experience but by that time I was super over it. Not sure if I’ll come back but wishing this place the best.

I don’t usually leave bad reviews but I tried to eat here with my son. Asked for a table. Was told to wait for host. Two other groups came in, sat down, and got served while we were still waiting. Finally ask bartender for help twice and get a table. Other people come in and get seated and their orders taken while we’re just being ignored. So we left without any service. It’s a shame because I’ve always loved this place.

Delicious tacos. I had the Adobo chicken tac with mango salsa and my teenage daughter had the beef tac. we also ordered a side of guacamole and a beef emanada. everything was perfect. when I saw that the price of 1 taco was just under $7 I was worried, but it was full and worth it. I wish I had lived closer. I highly recommend it.

The restaurant is conveniently located right at the subway station, which made it an easy choice to try. I ordered two tacos and some cortadito. They handed me a fork for the tacos, which was actually necessary because they were so loaded with meat. The tacos were delicious! Plus, the outdoor seating area was very enjoyable.

Great food. the place can sometimes be something too busy and the waiter overwhelmed, which can explain why a certain waiter always seems to have a small chip on his shoulder. he'll sometimes make a statement. Moreover, eating is delicious, the rest of the staff is friendly and the ambiente is actually right, especially the occasional train by.
