My friend and I went to the restaurant and ordered the mangu with Los tres golpes and a cafe con leche...it was perfect. The restaurant is a bit old and worn down, but the food was so delicious that it didn't bother us. The only downside is that I have trouble reaching them on the phone, as it always goes to voicemail. This makes it impossible to place orders ahead of time by phone. View all feedback.
What R Zel doesn't like about Carmen’s:
The restaurant was empty, but the music was so loud that we assumed it was open. The food was too salty for my liking, so we decided to give it a try. However, we probably won't be returning. It was good to give it a chance, but now we know the outcome. View all feedback.
Good food, good service and very clean place! must try if they do not
The food is delicious but RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED! You can see in the photo, they charged my cousin over $100 for the food in the picture and 2 soda’s. Easily $40-45 max anywhere else. When we called because so much was missing all we got was attitude. Horrible customer service. They lost SEVERAL CUSTOMERS TODAY!
As soon as I walked into the restaurant, you could smell how delicious the food would be. I ordered the chicharron de pollo sin hueso (fried chicken chucks without bone) with rice and beans and morir soñando (orange juice milk drink) and it was perfect! I would definitely be coming back soon.
Delicious Dominican food! I recommend the oxtail. So much flavor and well seasoned.
Food was delicious and everyone there is so warm and kind! Buena Suerte, Carmen and family!!
