I generally don't like Woodhouse pubs because they don't accept cash, so I tend to steer clear of them. However, it wasn't my decision this time, so we went anyway. The food was decent, but the portion sizes were quite disappointing. I received a tiny serving of chips in a small container, along with a lonely vegan burger on a plate for nearly £15. We were several times and each time when a fantastic meal, we had no bad experience with any visit and would highly recommend it. yes, they can wait a little longer for their meal, but well worth waiting, eating is fantastic
Great service, friendly staff and superb food. I had the award winning steak and tanglefoot ale pie and its epic as always : Well worth a visit.
Me and my husband came for dinner yesterday evening. The staff were so friendly, always smiling and asking if all was ok. The place was so nice and comfy and felt very homely. I can't fault the food we had at all! It was absolutely delicious. My husband said it was the best pie he has ever tasted! Will most definitely be back again and again
