Decided to stop by here Sunday 8/27. The restaurant has a very nice and chill atmosphere, we sat out on the patio. Our server Kaitlyn was easily the highlight of our experience. She was super friendly, bubbly and attentive. We ordered the Salmon with Hollandaise sauce and it was hands down the best salmon we’ve ever gotten from a restaurant. We very much enjoyed our time at Sam’s Boathouse, we will definitely be back.... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sam's Boat Pearland:
Honestly the food is really good. The only problem I have is the lighting. I usually come in the morning and it’s always like this. Most of the lighting is natural light that mainly shines through one side of the building. This casts lots of shadows. Additionally, if you’re sitting facing the window, the light blazes in your face. It’s really annoying. There was also someone drilling a broken booth chair. Can’t they... View all feedback.
My 2nd time eating here and I was not disappointed! Food and service was Awesome!Food: 5/5
I tried the snapper with lemon butter topping. The 2 sides I got was French fries and green beans. The snapper was not good at all. The flavor was fishy and it was overall a hard to chew fish, it seemed like it was over cooked or made from frozen not fresh. The fish is a good size it just was not good and not worth the price. The French fries were crunchy and good and the green beans were good. I will not eat here again for seafood.
Waitressing was good… my wife had spoiled shrimp in her meal and the manager still made us pay for her to eat there. Asked to have her meal taken off and he refused. The drinks were also nasty. They tasted like seasoned ketchup
Experience was bitter sweet. It was a groups of us(including our kids) that came to this place for the first time. We had just finished a soccer tournament so wanted to eat and have a good time. We sat outside and it was just all about fun, the little park is excellent for kids. At one point we decided to go inside. That’s when everything just fell apart. Kids are kids, but we also understand they must “behave”. So basically my understanding the kids continued to play at the mini park, but there was a point where they used the table/bench as a “bridge”. I don’t think they ever got on the table top of that makes sense. So this older lady noticed, went outside, and told them things that should not be said to kids. There’s ways to address things. Tell them nicely OR come to us parents so we can swiftly take care of the situation. But no she proceeded to calling them things like “dumb kids” and whatnot. It got to a point where then she started cussing at both kids and parents. Not sure about the kids, but for sure parents. Then to make matters worse, we were asked to leave when SHE is the one that set everything in motion and from understanding she might be a regular? So she got points for that. Ain’t no way a person that is rude to kids like that going to get “points” in my book. We were there for a while, giving them good business. The waitress that took care of us was phenomenal but that decision to kick us out was just outrages. ZERO problems till that older lady showed up.5 star for the waitress.0 stars for the place just because of that decision. Kicking out good people to keep 1 rude person satisfied. She should’ve have been kicked out on the spot.
