Button Up Cafe - Pearl City

11/3/2022: Very good. Large parts. The staff is super friendly. In places maybe 14? I ordered the Corned Beef Hash loco moco since I read that they are doing their beef in the house. It was very good. The crowned beef was tender and fritted nice, so it had a delicate crumb also under the brown engraving, which was perfect. Not too hard on pepper. I ordered my eggs over medium, but it came over hard. Overall, I really enjoyed it. Disappointment: Despite scattering, they use disposable cutlery and containers. They used compostable, but they had no compost basket so it's all garbage. No recycle bin.

Amazing breakfast place! Great food. We had the eggs Benedict over Korean short ribs. Also had some of the Hawaiian bread French toast.

Great breakfast, excellent service. Super little restaurant, I think there were maybe 3 tables. We got a little before opening there and were lucky to get a table. You can say they take a lot out. I was pleasantly surprised how friendly the staff was and how delicious the food was. The short rib Benny was dying. Will definitely come back to try the filled French toast on our next visit to the island.

Another hole in the wall that hits the square. The whole day... can never be enough with this amazing and delicious loco moco style lunch plate. Good plate parts. I have to try her desserts again... another good reason why I'm going to visit again.

We were introduced to Button Up Cafe by Amanda and Felix Eats. We had the braised short rib Benny, braised short rib loco moco, ube stuffed French toast and Nutella stuffed French toast. Everything was fabulous. We will eat here every time we are in Oahu.
