However, my only complaint is that the tables are placed too close together, making it difficult to have a private and intimate dining experience.

We recently had dinner there, and every course featured delicous cre... read more The Gladstone Tavern is excellent...the food, the service, the ambiance, are all top notch. We recently had dinner there, and every course featured delicous creations. The Tavern offers indoor and outdoor dining with a large covered patio, as well as seating on the wide front porch. We started off with the lobster corn chowder, crab tots and fresh baked focaccia. For our entrees we each chose a different seafood dish...lobster, shrimp, mahi mahi, and branzino. Each was prepared expertly and the portions were generous. Chef Tom Carlin stopped by the table to see if we were happy with our meals, and we assured him that we were pleased with the meals and were looking forward to dessert! The dessert menu has both simple and complex offerings. My husband always wants a warm chocolate chip cookie, and the rest of us enjoyed peach upside down cake with homemade ice cream. We will be back to the Gladstone Tavern again, and again, and again!
