My children and their father really enjoy coming here, and we always end up returning because it is such a great place to eat out. The staff are friendly and efficient, the restaurant is not overly crowded, and it is dog-friendly. The food and drinks are fantastic, with a great selection of burgers, sides, main courses, and Sunday lunch roasts available. They also have a lovely collection of desserts. Overall, we rate the service a 5 out of 5.

We made a reservation for a large group (over 20 people) half a week in advance, and Burger and Bird was the only restaurant that could accommodate us all sitti... read more We made a reservation for a large group (over 20 people) half a week in advance, and Burger and Bird was the only restaurant that could accommodate us all sitting together locally. We were celebrating a 40th birthday party with some children in attendance, so we were looking for a nice, civilized evening. To our surprise, 6 extra people showed up and the staff quickly provided additional seating to keep us all together. The bar area allowed for everyone to get drinks while waiting for the full party to arrive. I was able to start a tab for drinks, and the staff were very accommodating with different payment methods. The staff were excellent, the atmosphere was lovely, and the food was beautifully presented and delicious. There was no pressure for non-diners to order food, and we had a fantastic evening. We were initially concerned about bringing children, but they were warmly welcomed. We stayed until closing time and were not rushed to leave. Went with my sister for a meal. It's on the main South Coast Road and there is no parking so you would park just 50m down the road. Nice decor. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered a katsu which is one of my absolute favourites. It was nearly perfect. Wife and sister reported theirs was excellent too. Highly recommend this venue. Slightly on the expensive side but then it is the south coast and it is good quality. Service: 5 Location: 5
