The Smuggler's Rest - Peacehaven

I will be honest here (it is not the whole point)...we love this place, the atmosphere is always secret and cozy. After we booked the New Year's Special, we were all fired for a four curs extravaganza.well. we had the four curses, of which the starter and dessert were by far the better options. my partner sat down for the lamb from the main menu, which unfortunately consisted of a large amount of gristle, the dauphenise kartoffeln were a baptism of moss. my band augensteak was quite delicious, but again was quite gristy. the cheese and the cookies were in order. the actual handle was with the price of drinks. we ordered a bottle of pinot and managed to get four glasses out of it. the two extra glasses, the price was two third of the price of a bottle. I'm sure a good waiter might have pointed this out to us. we can't knock the enthusiasm of our server (the name I didn't get), she was very attentive and had a great personality. the evening was pleasant enough, and the disco was not too loud (for a few cold crows like us and our experience would not stop us from visiting again

Came for a night to the coast and came over this place while they go. beautiful pub and large outside area with magnificent view of the sea. Unfortunately, a star had to fall because people at the bar without masks. it would be easier to enforce if the personal mask wore! we all have our different views and opinions about them know what a good visit and personal are nice and friendly. I'd be immersed again... not for a drink inside, but outside yes. I can't just come across some people who don't wear masks when they see clearly that others are struggling!

I don't know if I would recommend it. the ambiente is good and it is nice and warm, but eating was disappointing.

It is great to eat also, the service is so beautiful.

We celebrated our high-time anniversary. there was a little confusion about the open table reservation, but it was quickly and politely resolved. each of us ordered another dish of ribs to healed and all enjoyed our meal. our services were attentive, but not intrusive. wonderful evening.
