Absolutely fantastic, everyone! The Mexican food here is incredibly authentic. I tried two street tacos with cilantro and onions, along with a side of hot sauce, and they were among the best I've ever had! My partner ordered the Flautas, and she absolutely loved them. This place is a must-visit for anyone. There's plenty of space, and it's definitely worth the trip! View all feedback.
What Tour Guide doesn't like about El Grullense Jal:
I used to think it was hard to mess up nachos, but it seems I was wrong. The tortilla chips weren't authentic; they were more like generic store-bought corn chips. There were barely any beans, and the portion size was very small. All for $9, and that’s without any meat! Perhaps their tacos are better? View all feedback.
OPEN EARLY 9AM. That statement alone is good enough for me. Their Machaca and eggs is to die for. Reasonable prices, my family of 4 ate for $33.00. I will be returning soon.
I live 20 mins away and I ordered 12 flour tortillas just for them to give me 12 corn tortillas and then they want me to drive back just for them to give me back my money!
The shrimp cocktail was not fresh and tasted salty. The shrimp a la diabla was not spicy and the price was very high for the amount of food served on the plate. The only good thing was the Horchata. I really didn't like the food.
Initial impression, very clean restaurant. Polite staff, and food is delicious. I had the Chiaquiles. Excellent place.
Tried for the 1st time. Probably not going to try again. Food was salty when we let the cook know it was salty they responded with the customers before you ordered 2 and they finished it all rude response!! For the 2 plates we ordered we got 2 free tacos..... each plate was 14.99.. and the tacos were only complimentary because we advised them about their salty food! (The horchata is great!
