When I do not have time to pack my lunch for work, I stop at Sam's Cafe and order a to go to eat later. It is either a tuna sandwich or a BLT...every time it is simply delicious. The sandwiches are perfectly balanced and for the side, if they have not prepared their fresh daily potato salad I will opt for the classic French fries. Came in for an early lunch with a friend and found the restaurant to be quite busy! Definitely a place the locals go to get a good diner-type meal. The hostess was attentive, and quick to help us with anything we needed. Server was as friendly, and food was generously portioned. Chicken fried steak was delicious. I got the 1/2 order and that was to much. I got three plates. 1 had chicken fried steak, another one had biscuits and gravy and another plate had eggs and hash browns. Huge servings. The staff was especially friends. I highly recommend this place and will be back. That was my 1st time.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menuWheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs.

The food was very good.. The service was excellent. The staff is very friendly.
About eight of us went there after church, it's just down the street from us. The food is always excellent, the chicken fried steak is beyond belief. The Waitresses are more like friends they always remember us. Love this place
