Mil's Grill - Patterson
Mil's Grill
Description
Nestled in downtown Patterson, Mil's offers a mix of charm and nostalgia, but recent reviews suggest it may need some updating. While many patrons appreciate the friendly service and hearty meals, complaints about food quality and outdated decor have surfaced. Diners have described issues with greasy entrees and inconsistent drink preparation, and some lament the weariness of the establishment. However, the atmosphere remains inviting, and reasonable prices attract families seeking a comfortable dining experience. Ultimately, while Mil's has its loyal fans, a few improvements could elevate the overall dining experience for those looking to revisit this hometown favorite.

Mil's is a straightforward, family-friendly full-service restaurant located in downtown Patterson, CA. The restaurant offers plenty of seating, is clean, and has an inviting decor. The prices are very reasonable; our group of six enjoyed a meal for under $130. I ordered pork chops alongside breakfast items, while others mainly opted for burgers. The only minor issue was that the pork chops were slightly overcooked. We sat at a wall table, allowing us to enjoy our meal without disturbances. A nice bonus is the bar area for those who are interested. Overall, it’s a pleasant family establishment in a central location. I gave it 4 stars due to the overcooked pork chops, but I would definitely return. If you’re looking for a quiet dining experience with a wide variety of food options, I recommend checking it out. The waitresses were efficient and ensured that everything we ordered was delivered promptly!
A great place to have some cold drinks, done in, or just relax with friends or family. Great service and the environment is very nice and clean.
I grew up in Patterson, and this restaurant has always been a favorite of mine. The food is still delicious, which is great, but I have to be honest about something else. The building is quite old, and while I don’t know their financial situation, I really hope they can make some minor updates in the future. The tables are the same ones from my childhood in the 90s, and they are starting to fall apart. While I appreciated the nostalgia of sitting at a table I remember from my youth, it’s definitely time for some improvements. I like the old-school vibe, but it would be nice if they could fix what’s broken. The overall appearance can make the dining experience less enjoyable. The service is always excellent, and the prices are reasonable, but addressing these small issues would really enhance the atmosphere.
This is our go-to spot for breakfast after a baseball game. The French toast is fantastic! The service is consistently friendly whenever my family visits.
We’ve eaten here before but this night was not good! Food was slow intermittently served quality of food was fair and drinks were an issue, first serving drink glasses holding them by the rim is a big no no second ordering an old fashion bourbon drink is a specific simple recipe but got one with grenadine isn’t part of any recipe but I was told the bar tender( aka owner) has been making them for 40 years and knows how! Nope all varieties aren’t made with that. I know mistakes happen but both drink issues had to directly done by this bar tender. May eat here again but won’t order mixed drinks!
