Panera Bread - Patchogue
Panera Bread
Description
At this local restaurant, the appeal of great food is overshadowed by inconsistent service and hygiene issues. While patrons enjoy standout offerings like creamy tomato soup and broccoli cheddar bread bowls, dissatisfaction arises from rude staff interactions and inadequate delivery precautions, resulting in tampered orders and missing ingredients. Additionally, guests have reported a distressing presence of gnats and flies during their dining experiences, particularly at higher price points. Despite the inviting atmosphere and ample parking, many customers find themselves reconsidering their loyalty amidst ongoing concerns about food safety and service quality.

Placed mobile order, everything is checked off on receipt. Didn’t follow directions for modifications at all and one of the sandwiches was completely incorrect. Did not include spoons for soups. It’s bad enough that Panera charges what they do. At least have orders correct. Don’t go to this Panera. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

$51 for 1/2 veggie sandwich, bread bowl, kids mac n cheese and a brownie. Paid over $12 for the baked potato soup and it was like watered down lukewarm cat vomit. Never again. Meal type: Brunch Food: 2

I can’t figure out why this establishment has any good reviews. I dined here last night. None of my food was hot. Everything was lukewarm. Their new French dip sandwich was horrific with little tiny pieces of chewy beef that had no flavor and was overcooked with a brown onion liquid that’s supposedly Au Jus , it was flavorless brown water with pieces of onion. My bread bowl with soup was not even full and soup was lukewarm and flavorless. My salad tasted like there was no dressing on it. The establishment was dirty outdated and smelled moldy. The self serve soda machine was soapy and not palatable. I have frequented Panera since they first opened on the island some 20 years ago and the food was good. The best thing here was the kind man behind the counter who took my order .Extremely disappointed how far this chain has fallen since they first opened
