I’m never ordering from here again! The fries were soggy and they didn’t devein the shrimp. Worst and most disgusting takeout I ever ordered????
Clearly the chef has a thorough authentic Chinese cooking background. He has a true Asian influential flavors in each dish that clearly comes across your taste buds as better than most restaurants in the surrounding neighborhoods. I also appreciatethe fact of them offering Bobo tea drinks. Clearly a step above the many average restaurants.
The egg roll tasted as if it was spoiled....the chicken had a similiar taste and the combination platter comes in a small container that barely has any rice...looks like the standaed lunch special container for like 4 dollars more...i am convincedLong Island and chineae food are not friends...this is the 5th spot we have tried with similiar results...????
I visit this restaurant frequently, and the food is consistently outstanding. The elderly couple who own the place truly know their way around the kitchen, and the flavors remind me of the meals I enjoyed growing up two decades ago. I highly recommend the egg rolls, any of the fried rice options, and the sesame chicken, but honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Oh, and I must mention that they serve some of the best fried chicken I've ever had, so be sure to give that a try!
This restaurant serves some of the best Chinese food in the area! That said, the egg rolls could be improved, as they tend to be a bit greasy. The wonton soup would benefit from the thinner wontons usually found in Chinatown. The steak can be chewy and occasionally undercooked. The rice could use more egg and pork, and it often comes out too dark. It would be helpful to reduce the amount of soy sauce, clean the fryers more regularly, and cut back on the corn syrup. Overall, there's great potential here!
