Dunkin' - Passaic
Dunkin'
Description
In a recent assessment of a local Dunkin' Donuts, customer experiences highlighted a dichotomy between service and product quality. While some staff members displayed commendable friendliness and efficiency, as evidenced by their quick service, others fell short in professionalism, leading to customer dissatisfaction. Issues with menu availability, stale products, and incorrect orders were frequently noted, diminishing the overall appeal of the establishment. Despite a few positive interactions, many patrons expressed a lack of trust in the quality of both food and service, ultimately recommending prospective customers to seek alternatives. Management attention is needed to address these ongoing concerns.

If you visit Dunkin' before 10am, it's a 5-star experience, but after that, proceed with caution! The kids working there after 10am are often giggling and distracted while taking orders, which leads to mistakes or forgotten items by the time you reach the window. It seems like the menu options you want are never available after 10am. A new issue I encountered today is that you can no longer add to your order at the window—you have to go inside or circle back through the drive-thru. Strangely, if they mess up your order, they will take it again at the window, which doesn’t make much sense. In short, if you go to Dunkin' before 10am, you’re in for a great experience, but after that, it’s a gamble.
Every time I visit Dunkin', they refuse to sell a single cup of coffee or frozen coffee to go. They're always making excuses about the machine not working, but it's clear they just don't want to do their job. Management, please take better care of your customers.
I cannot recommend this Dunkin' Donuts. While the staff and service are satisfactory, the food and drinks fall short. I once ordered a caramel iced coffee with cold foam, but ended up getting an iced coffee without the foam.
The availability of oat milk is infrequent, the coffee quality is poor, and the donuts are consistently stale. Furthermore, they tend to react negatively when you point out that your order is wrong.
I arrived at 10:21 and was informed by a staff member that they had run out of macchiatos because of kitchen cleaning, leaving only black coffee available. I expressed my disappointment, reminding them that they are a Dunkin' Donuts and shouldn’t turn away customers. A girl named Denise then stepped in and asked me, rather rudely, if I wanted black coffee or not. I found her attitude unacceptable and will not return to this location. However, a male staff member was friendly and tried to make it right by offering me a free coffee, saying, "the customer is always right." I appreciate his gesture, but I believe Denise should not work there if she can’t maintain a respectful demeanor. It’s unfortunate if the owner is unaware of her behavior.
