Diner on 16th - Pasig

Br/>Dined here to taste their huhn and shook and I must say it did not correspond to my expectations. I was looking forward to a great meal and time, but this place was not as good as I thought it would be. br br/>PLACE the place was decent. when we were there, we were the only customers at the time and it was dinner time so I expected it to be others. I give the ambiente credit, but since you feel that you are in a real diner on the day, but that's it. another problem was the parking lot. it was difficult to find space although no customers, because there were limited number of slots and many customers from different restaurants were already parked. FOOD we ordered waffle florentine and poutine for our meal and s’mores milkshake for our dessert. the three were generous in serving and could serve people. the price was decent for the portions, but not for the taste. my friend and I were full of it, but we didn't find that delicious. I also did not like the milkshake was served before our meal. Moreover, it tastes excessively sweet! it was like I tasted the sugar and no other flavors in it. the chocolate wasn't even so good. we could not finish the milkshake, not only because it was enough, but also because it was not delicious and that it was hard to drink for two people as well. the huh was in order and the waffeln were a kind of bland in taste. the poutine was decent, but the pommes were no longer crispy, and it was already cold when it came to us. SERVICE the service was fast and friendly, but that is expected as we were the only customers there. OVERALL now, I did not really enjoy our experience here, but I do not hate it either. I can say that I wouldn't come back, but then it seems like a better place for friends, as they have a beer-pong table. we will see!

Our first time here wasn't so bad, but it's not great either. We ordered their buttermilk chicken and waffles, meatball pasta, and s'mores milkshake. Overall, their food was pretty decent for the price. Chicken and waffles were delicious, it's just that I've tasted better. The milkshake was good too nothing special with the milkshake itself, but I liked the marshmallows and other treats on top. I didn't care even if it was messy to eat/drink. Haha. My favorite was the meatball pasta; true Italian flavors for me, and the meatballs were so satisfying. Will probably come back here for the fries (they were all out of it when we went there more pasta, and other chicken dishes.

I have never heard of them before nor their chicken waffles hence i kept an open mind during my visit. And besides I haven't eaten a lot of chicken waffles in my lifetime Wait...Fireside's version is different right? No...okay. Scratch that off, I've had chicken multiple times, waffles not so much. But I've never had chicken and waffles at the same time. The place is of moderate size. No fancy furniture. Typical diner set-up. And it reminds me of place where kids would go after school. Waffle Florentine (Php 350). 3 pieces buttermilk fries chicken, classic waffles, poached eggs, spinach, bacon & hollandaise sauce. Okay, i was surprised to see "buttermilk" on the menu because the chicken doesn't taste like the ones I've had in Fireside. Think of it as regular fried chicken sans seasoning. The waffles is mediocre (I've had better). Saving grace of the dish is the bacon (buti na lang may bacon kundi olats na ????) and the poached eggs. Ze eggs were cooked perfectly. I wasnt wowed with Diner. Will i go back? Nope. The travel is not worth it.
