**Dining Review: A Mixed Bag of Portions and Experience**
This local eatery is known for its generous portion sizes and warm atmosphere, making it a tempting stop for hungry patrons. While some dishes, like the eggs Benedict and pulled pork omelette, earn praise for flavor, others have disappointed, often cited as lacking freshness and quality. Service can be friendly but varies with the crowd, sometimes leading to slower experiences. Despite the occasional misstep, such as undercooked items or cleanliness issues, the restaurant’s rustic charm and commitment to local ingredients keep diners coming back. However, recent changes since the pandemic have left some longing for its former glory.

This classic greasy spoon offers delicious home-style cooking with generous portions. The spacious layout includes outdoor seating for the summer months. It tends to get busy quickly, which can sometimes lead to slower service. Overall, it’s a great local spot to visit if you’re in the area.
I decided to give this restaurant another chance, but unfortunately, the food still lacked any taste or flavor. I even tried adding gravy and Cholula hot sauce, but it didn’t make a difference. I ultimately gave up.
The portion sizes are huge! The pesto eggs Benedict are absolutely delicious, especially when enjoyed with coffee. I also sampled the country fried steak, which consists of two large and flavorful steaks. The staff here is exceptionally friendly and attentive. Additionally, they support the Washington State University food science department by incorporating their specialty cheese into their signature mac and cheese dishes. I will definitely be coming back!
Nice people just bad customer service they don?t really come check on you if you need anything else first bite was good but as i ate it more it grossed me out there where flies bothering us the whole time we waited 40 minutes to get seated and a whole hourto get served a fly ended up in our coffee the meats really think but some people like that the hash browns had no flavor justwatch what you get bc it?s honestly not worth your time or money
I give this restaurant 1 star for its generous portions and another star for the inviting atmosphere and friendly staff. However, the food was almost inedible, so my overall rating is 3 stars. I'm not particularly picky when it comes to food, but I found the quality to be lacking. Some locals I've spoken to mentioned that the restaurant hasn't been the same since the pandemic. Although I can't comment on its previous standards, my meal was served lukewarm. The sausage lacked flavor, while my wife's Philly cheesesteak was tasty but drier than the summer heat in Arizona, and her salad had wilted lettuce. With all the "EAT" signs adorning the walls, I was expecting a much better experience, but unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed.
