My Vegan - Pasadena
My Vegan
Description
My Vegan, a popular pan-Asian vegan restaurant, seems to have mixed reviews from customers. Some have complained about issues with communication, order accuracy, and rudeness from staff. Certain items on the extensive menu have been hit or miss, with some patrons finding the Thai dishes to be the standout options. The ambiance is basic but inviting, with a stream of customers indicating its hidden gem status. While some have raved about the delicious food and variety of options available, there have been mentions of inconsistency in quality and experiences. Overall, My Vegan appears to be a place where one might have to explore the menu to find their perfect dish.

Great place for a quick delicious vegan bite! The reason why this is not a 5 stars is because the location is not well taken care of. There are no restrooms and seating is very limited. The food was good though. It arrived quickly and as expected. There’s a wide variety of different dishes, many GF options, spicy or not spicy and nuts or nuts free. A very good menu. Theportions are huge and we’ll prepared. Taste is balanced and simply delicious. I would go back for the taste a good value.
The food gets real soggy fast. Often they can not understand you due to a language barrier. They mess up the order at times and then lie, plus do not fix the problems. If that happens, they are rude about it all. They also randomly close so if you drovefar you will wait too long for them to re-open. They do not package food well. It spilled all over me, the car, my clothes, andeverything. Plus, the parking lot gets all crazy too. There is limited seating and no bathroom. After years of coming here, I'mjust too fed up now. One or two visits may be fine, but after a while you may notice such issues.
Clean and friendly atmosphere. On a Friday night, make reservations. Less than a 5 min wait on other days/times. The menu is long and there are Thai, American, and Mexican dishes on the menu. The food is superb. Soy chicken is delicious. Their cashewcheese is pretty good too. They have some staple Thai dishes and some interesting ones as well. The combo meals are a greatvalue.
Tom Kah is my favorite soup ever but I rarely see it on menus let alone vegan. I stopped by on a cold rainy day and it hit the spot. Wonderfully warm and sour just like me.
