Hidden gem of Pasadena this is actually one of the best Mexican food restaurants as well as juice shop! The Tues Fri deals are incredible for $1 and the juice options from fresh fruit and veggies are better than standalone shops. View all feedback.

What Annette V dislikes about Vero's:
There wasn't any parking in rear, it was area full up had to park more than a block away. I ordered taquitos with rice beans. It was ok but not near enough quacamole maybe a soup spoonful if that much. View all feedback.

The food is delicious and the service is excellent. Prices are reasonable. However, I do have one issue: the restaurant permits customers to bring their own beer. As a result, you may encounter some drinking and disagreements during your visit.

Vero's is a quaint diner resembling a rest stop, featuring a compact indoor dining space and a small outdoor area with a few tables. It's located to the left of Orange Grove as you head north on Lake in Pasadena—easy to overlook if you're not careful. I really enjoy the food here, and the cozy seating area provides a delightful small-town charm. It's an ideal spot for a satisfying meal with generous portions, as well as a place to sip a couple of cups of coffee. The diner can get quite busy, and parking is limited. If you don’t mind parking a bit farther away and walking a block or two, it’s a great option. Alternatively, you can order takeout, but I personally love the atmosphere, especially during the quieter weekdays.

The sopes were excellent, full of flavor, and the hot sauce had a perfect level of spiciness. The banana chocolate shake was delicious—I highly recommend it. It appears to be family-owned and operated, and the hardworking staff is truly admirable.

The breakfast at this restaurant is excellent, especially the juices and sandwiches.

I can't believe I wasted my money at this restaurant. The food was terrible and flavorless. Despite the large plates, the portions were small and the prices were significantly higher than advertised online.
