We got the crawfish Cajun pasta, Octopus and shrimp ceviche, veggie/shrimp/sausage toss with jambalayasauce added- Server wonderful, we got in a bit late at about 9 pm. was empty. exterior looked very nice. Very clean. Ceviche- needed more meatpieces but was very good. A bit spicy. large tortilla corn crisps. $16 Shrimp and sausage veggie toss and asked if they couldadd jambalaya sauce since the ingredients were pretry much the same vs the pasta and rice dish. They accommodated and it tastedgreat. no extra charge. Decent flavor for the jambalaya sauce. Shrimp were a bit overcooked. 5 total. One of which had an offtaste due to not being fresh. $17. Crawfish pasta was just okay.. small pieces/not enough crawfish. It was a bit dry/neededmore sauce. Overall not the best. Especially for the written price on the paper menu-$19. When Bill came the price of thecrawfish pasta was $23. Told them they needed to change the price on their menu and you can't false advertise/charge a differentprice even if the cost went up. At $23 absolutely not worth getting. Tvs loud, not needed when it was just us and one couplenot even facing TVS. Multiples still on near closing time. had hard time hearing our server and my companion. Wasirritating. Our server was wonderful though, very considerate, accommodating and friendly. Also got us extra chips for theceviche and asked if I can do the veggies/shrimp/ sausage toss with the jambalaya sauce. His name was Patrick Overall would notgo back. only decent food. With some tweaks could be a really good place though.
This is a very spacious Cajun restaurant that also caters to sports enthusiasts. There are so many TV’s showing various games. My family comes here for the lobster with mozzarella and for the lobster with garlic noodles but they also prepare good Cajunseafood. The crab, lobster and shrimp were all very fresh. The firecracker shrimp lives up to its name. If you want dessert, getthe lava cake and skip the cheesecake.
This place is so good!! If you’re debating on coming here, this is your sign to go! We got the coconut shrimp, spicy seafood platter garlic noodles and it was the perfect combination!! Prices were really reasonable and the service was on point shoutout to our amazing server Robin!! ???? we will definitely be back!!!
Had a good experience here. Came w 5 friends parked in the underground garage paid parking took the elevator up. Initially went to boiling crab but wait line was over an hour so came here. In front of gyu Kaku which is also good. Seated quickly didnt waitaround 6 and 7 on a weekend. Server Patrick was very friendly and helpful. The wait for the food was delayed so they offeredsome sides. Good customer service here. Water was always filled. Server was attentive and fun matched the energy of our tableeven though it got busy. The food is good here. Got the 3lbs steaming pile of crab for 99 dollars. Got two of them to share w6ppl but get more sides or you'll be hungry. I think there was only one or two king crab legs per plate. Paid 40-50 per personto get full on mostly crab. Bread was good to soak up the flavor. Fries were decent kinda bendy not crisp. Corn was corn ifyoure into that. Nice change and variety in flavor and texture from just crab. No bibs or aprons, but they give u tools tocrack and cut open the crabs. The flavoring is great ???? really enjoyed the food. I usually like spicy food so asked for cajunpowder on the side. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The vibes of the restaurant are nice for family friends etc. There's a bar area. Lots of beers. Menu on their website. Tvs playing sports on Wall. Volume of the place is lively when itsgets busy. Seemed popular w dineLA. My friends and I enjoyed this experience and would come again.
I decided to try this restaurant out after hearing about it from DineLa. I recommend trying the seafood platter, as it was flavorful and worth it compared to other dishes on the menu. The pasta with clams and wild mushrooms was a disappointment, as most of the clams were closed and it ended up being more like a mushroom pasta. The fish was tasty, but it would have been better if it had been scaled more for easier eating. The rice was a bit hard. The appetizers were good and the portions were generous. The waitress was attentive and friendly. The sales tax rate in Pasadena is 10.25%, but it seemed higher on my bill, so be aware of that. The wait for our food after the appetizers was about 30 minutes.
