This restaurant offers outdoor seating and usually draws a large crowd. We've visited several times, and each time we faced long wait times. However, after COVID-19, it seems to be less crowded, and we've been able to get seated more easily. The food is quite good and typical of American cuisine. The syrup for the toast had a wonderfully sweet aroma, and everything was beautifully presented. I would recommend this place, as long as it's not too busy.
This is an outstanding breakfast spot with a wide-ranging menu and high-quality ingredients. I tried the Pork Belly Benny, which was good, but I kind of wished I had opted for a classic eggs benedict instead. The caramel latte was fantastic. My friend ordered waffles and eggs, which made for a hearty meal. The bacon was decent as well. Just a heads up, they only serve hash browns during the week, so since we visited on a Saturday, potatoes were our only option. The noise level is noticeable due to the many reflective surfaces; you don’t have to yell, but you will need to speak up a bit to be heard, so low talkers take note. This place is extremely popular and tends to be always busy, and they don't accept reservations. PRO TIP: You can join the waitlist through the Yelp app, and they'll text you when your table is ready.
Came here as a recommended favorite from a local friend Arrived mid-morning during the week, but it was pretty crowded both outside and inside. You use a tablet on the outside to place yourself on the waiting list. With a party of 8, I was worried about a long wait. However, within 10 minutes. they had a large table ready for us. The staff was very efficient in cleaning tables as soon a party left and had it ready right away. We were seated and waiter immediately came over to take drink orders and answer any questions. We ordered a few drinks while we decided on our orders. Ordered everything from the Chocolate Matcha, Lavender Matcha, Hot Chocolate, etc... You can see them making each drink fresh behind the bar. Everyone enjoyed their drinks as they all had a rich, natural flavor. For the meals, we ordered the Salmon Benedict, Chilaquiles, Eleanore Special, Breakfast Burrito, California Benedict, etc... Even though we had a large party, all the food came out together within 15 minutes. Everything was plated and presented perfectly with attention to details. It was complete silence as everyone enjoyed their meal. All the ingredients looked and tasted very fresh. Each all had eggs cooked differently, but they were all cooked exactly right. Throughout the mail, waiter constantly came by to refill drinks and make sure everything was ok. Very good food and service, will definitely come back to try other menu items
I absolutely loved Millie's! This is the place I’ve been missing since going vegan. It's generous, friendly, community-oriented, affordable, and truly excellent. Many restaurants don’t offer a single vegan item, but Millie’s has two entire pages dedicated to vegan options! Plus, it isn’t at all pretentious; the local community really embraces it, and it’s always bustling because the food is delicious and fairly priced. The menu has a diner-style vibe, so don’t expect quinoa bowls for brunch or lunch. There's plenty of outdoor seating, and the service is both friendly and efficient. I really enjoyed my experience and will definitely be coming back!
I’m puzzled by how many people had positive experiences here. I ordered the vegan mess, and it was terrible. Everything was undercooked and cold, and there was an overwhelming amount of raw garlic in the dish. They don’t serve hash browns on weekends, which is baffling, so I had to settle for the rosemary potatoes. I can't emphasize enough how bad they were—it's like they had been sitting in boiling water for hours. They were completely mushy and tasteless. Such a letdown. My mom ordered the non-vegan French toast and enjoyed it, but they forgot to add the bananas we requested and didn’t provide any maple syrup.
