Marston’s is a charming, family-friendly breakfast spot in Pasadena known for its classic American dishes and cozy cottage ambiance. Highlights include the famous French toast with a cornflake crust and creative options like the chili omelette and tempura-battered salmon. Friendly, attentive service and multiple seating areas—inside, veranda, and side tent—add to its appeal. While the food is generally good, some find certain dishes oily or under-seasoned. Parking is limited but manageable. Despite occasional inconsistencies and relatively high prices, Marston’s remains a beloved destination for locals and visitors seeking a relaxed breakfast or brunch experience.
Brunch was very filling! Great food. Great staff. They have their own parking lot which is a big plus. Not crowded. Clean and quiet atmosphere. Will definitely come back again. Give them a try. Highly recommended.
Quint atmosphere, competent efficient servers. Good house cooking like delicious food. Andouille Sausage Omelette brings you to a New Orleans Vibes. Good way to start another day
A family-friendly restaurant for breakfast for years. My food is the chili omelet. I also love their tempura broken salmon with one side of sweet potato fries and Cole Slav. Marston's is a picturesque cottage with paintings of picturesque landscapes and forals that decorate their walls. There are seats inside, on the veranda, or side tent. People are friendly and the service is out of hand. It is a charming place for a meal. Parking can be limited, but I never have a problem.
Marston's is my favorite breakfast place in Pasadena and it's definitely in my top five breakfast spots of all time! You can't go wrong with their famous French toast, and the pulled pork Benedict is absolutely fantastic.
This restaurant has been a beloved choice for our family breakfasts for many years. My favorite dish is the chili omelette, but I also love their tempura-battered salmon, particularly when it's served with sweet potato fries and coleslaw. Marston's has a lovely cottage-like atmosphere, adorned with beautiful landscape and flower paintings. You have the option to dine inside, on the porch, or in a side tent. The staff is friendly, and the service is always top-notch. It's genuinely a wonderful place to enjoy a meal. Although parking can be a bit limited, I've never had trouble finding a space.
