Description
**Dining at Lista's: A Mixed Bag of Experiences**
At Lista's, diners find themselves divided in their opinions. Some appreciate the food, noting its quality, while others lament the shift towards takeout-style service, complete with plastic utensils and cardboard containers. The atmosphere, described as less welcoming than before, reflects a need for improvement in service, with reports of neglecting younger patrons. Regular customers express sympathy for the staff, recognizing the challenges imposed by the pandemic and urging kindness towards those providing service. While the restaurant maintains a loyal clientele, the dining experience seems to require re-evaluation to meet changing expectations and restore its former charm.

The appetizer, queso, didn’t arrive until our main courses were served. When I tried to share my disappointment with the elderly woman managing the restaurant, she responded with an unpleasant attitude and told me to leave. Thank you for your warm hospitality, ma'am. My husband and I were looking forward to a relaxing dinner, but we were treated disrespectfully and asked to leave. I can assure you that we won't be returning.
The food was just okay, but the atmosphere was a total letdown. After being seated, we were given paper menus. Once we made our choices, we had to go up to the counter to place our order. If you decide to order an appetizer, be prepared for everything to arrive at once, in cartons! We were given plastic utensils and bottled drinks, which felt more like a fast-food experience than dining out. No one came back to check on us or see if we needed anything else. If I wanted takeout, I could have just gone to Taco Bell. Lista's used to be one of my favorite places, but that's no longer the case!
