Was Brian A. Becker at Congregation Ale House a mag?
This was my first visit, and I had a fantastic experience. I came in on a Thursday evening, and it wasn't too busy. We were seated right away, and our server was extremely helpful in recommending beers. I really enjoyed the On Vacay IPA. I wasn't even aware it was happy hour, but we ended up getting our beers for just $5, along with some nachos and a pepperoni pizza at happy hour prices. We also ordered the brussels... What k dislikes about Congregation Ale House:
We didn't eat here, so we can't comment on the food. We only stopped in for a couple of beers, which were good and very cold! We had to find the server whenever we needed another round, which wasn't too cool. The atmosphere was nice and lively but not too busy when we were thus the low score for service. View all feedback.

Turtle was the best server ever! The food was all delicious and so were the drinks! Probably the best place to go in Pasadena!

Decent pub for some good food and drinks. Has events throughout the week. Staff is friendly, food comes relatively fast. They just launched a vegan menu which seems pretty cool, but most of their menu is typical bar food. They don’t have any drinks for non-drinkers unfortunately. Had the Diablo chicken sandwich and the Diablo burger. The sauce wasn’t very spicy, had a sweet tang. Tasted as expected. Fries and tots were good. Solid place for a hangout.

I had a fantastic experience! Arriving late from Arizona, I was looking for some delicious food and a great beer. I was thrilled that they kept the kitchen open late. The food was excellent! Matt, the bartender, was incredibly friendly and helpful; he even introduced me to a new favorite beer.

The bar staff were friendly and accommodating when we placed our order. After ordering, we received a number, and our food was delivered to our table. Our meals arrived in a timely manner and appeared to be fresh. The menu offers classic bar food such as tater tots, fries, and burgers, along with an impressive selection of various beers. However, the staff who were clearing tables and delivering items seemed a bit stretched and overwhelmed. I'm not sure if it was just a shortage of staff that evening or if this is a common occurrence. The restaurant has plenty of parking in a well-kept lot and is conveniently located next to the Gold Line, making it accessible by public transport. They also offer free self-serve water. While I would think about coming back, it’s not high on my list of places I feel compelled to revisit.

I had an amazing experience at Congregation Ale House! The names of the food and drinks were both creative and perfectly matched the theme. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout my visit. The food was outstanding! The pizza crust was light and flavorful, the tater tots were crispy to perfection, the chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious, and the warm, salty pretzel tasted fantastic, especially when paired with the cheese sauce. I also tried the forbidden fruit beer, which was tart, fruity, and incredibly refreshing! There's also free parking in a spacious lot, and the location is very convenient. I highly recommend this place and definitely plan to come back!
