Come here for a casual dining, the place is historical, the ramp of the leeway has pictures, as Parramatta looked in the 1800s, and it is so wonderful to see a place that is so passionate about his story and the places around her feels. The staff are helpful and friendly and always welcomes a good chat. The decor is the heritage, but that's a really nice home The food is pub food, good deals on Sunday $ 5 dollar meal... What Vance Sipes doesn't like about The Royal Oak Hotel:
I discovered this pub as I was sitting on a bus heading back into Parramatta (after visiting another pretty dull pub) and noted that it didn't appear on my list. So, I decided to readjust my path and swing back to this place to check it out. Well, it turned out that there wasn't all that much here to check out - it was a pretty stock standard pub and really didn't think much of it. While it did have a beer garden, it... Very here were in the past, when the bistro was operated by another operator, and there were far more patrons for lunch (it was a much more lively place). Today, the pub is very quiet on Friday for lunch. Grief Food here is a handsome standard pub tariff (schnitzel, burger, steaks). Does not taste bad, but nothing special. Grief For the price you pay, I ask the value for money (average price is $ 20 eso dollars).

I loved the pasta here, was al dente and the meat and sauce were rich and inviting. I was back here several times and started it a Sunday company.

While it did have a beer garden, it was namely a haven for the smokers. I think I'll just leave this place for the locals.
Love going to Sophie's bistro for cheap and tasty pub grub! My favourite is the crumbed pork chop with rice and soy sauce. The chicken and avocado salad is delicious too! For dessert, you can't go past the sticky date pudding! Only $5, it's a bargain!Owners of the bistro are lovely too!
Thought we would try out this place for a chicken Schnitzel because of the reviews.I found the food average. The portion sizing average.I mean the price was ok but i could of easily stayed at home and pumped out the same quality in food.
