I frequently visit the Star. I always get a beautifully cooked lunch. Their grilled fish is always delicious and is accompanied by a simple fresh salad and chips, and their steaks, cutlets and other items on the menu always more than satisfy. What User doesn't like about Star Hotel:
Good cheap feed for the family with $15 mains and $6 kids meals. Nothing fancy but good honest food. Perfect for a cheap meal after a long holiday spending! 2 mains and 3 kids meals $48...Bargain. View all feedback.
Good service with a smile, generous country size meals . Reasonable price. Everyone in our group enjoyed our meals.
20 of us turned up for lunch last week, and it was no trouble for the staff to have us seated (at separate tables of course), and take our orders. Meals were very reasonably priced, and they were huge! Top place to go for a feed and cold drink!
Good value lunch specials like the Salmon patties that Wife had for $12. My Rump steak and vegies with Dianne sauce was $21 but still great value. It was a reasonable size, well cooked and tender. Barman who took the food orders was friendly and efficient. The flies were a pest but seems to be par for the course up here with the hot weather.
Roast of the day for me Pork , kids fish and chips for master 7, followed by chocolate pudding and waffles and berries... a great meal at very very reasonable prices- Thankyou
We had a nice meal here, pub food, very reasonably priced, plenty of it and well cooked. The service was excellent, friendly, obliging and quick. The T-bone steak was enormous and tender, we would definitely go back if we were in Parkes. Well done
