We visited this restaurant as it was located close to our motel. We ordered 3 meals, green curry, jungle curry and duck lard to share with rice. The green curry with chicken was pleasant to eat as was the the duck lard, the jungle curry with Beef packed a real punch. Overall the visit and food were good value: This restaurant also is BYO which is always a plus. View all feedback.

Went with a colleague. The food was OK and the kitchen cooked plant based of "jey" for me. The restaurant is a family affair with mum in the kitchen and son on the floor. I had a tofu larb that needed more moisture and more corriander, mint, cucumber and salad but was ok. A basil chilli main again needed moisture but flavours were OK. We talkedabout frying the tofu... I couldnt detect any crispness. I asked for extra... View all feedback.
Overpriced poor excuse for Thai food, couldn’t eat it. Told the girl at the till and received a shrug of contempt. Advised them that a trip back to Thailand for lessons on how to cook Thai food would be a good idea.
Decided to try here based on the reviews. A little restaurant off the main street so we had take-away. We ordered curry puffs, Thai vegetarian fried rice, chicken and cashew nut and pad Thai. The food took about 20 minutes and was average priced. The food was tasty and perhaps the addition of frozen veggies to the rice would have been better left out. A nice meal after a long day driving.
My family was in search of a meal that wasn't the usual steaks, pizzas, or deep-fried pub food. I wasn't keen on Country Chinese cuisine, so when we came across a small family-run Thai restaurant that looked clean and inviting, we decided to give it a try. It was around 5:30pm when we walked in. Instead of going straight for traditional Thai dishes, we opted for something lighter with lots of vegetables. We ordered two simple dishes: chicken with Hokkien noodles and a chicken stir-fry with vegetables and oyster sauce. We also had some steamed rice and crispy vegetable spring rolls that weren't too salty. Despite initially planning to have more oyster sauce dishes, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
My husband and I dined at Rice tonight. The red curry chicken was delicious with a variety of flavors, and the BBQ duck was excellent. The service was good, and the restaurant is small and run by a couple. It was a fantastic discovery in Parkes.
This is not the first time we as a family have eaten from here. All meals ordered were beautifully cooked and delicious. Meals were served at an acceptable time after ordering even though the restaurant was quite busy. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rice Thai for anyone wanting a tasty Thai meal
