We stopped for breakfast. The cafe was about half full but the service was somewhat slow. That said, our breakfasts were excellent quality and generous. Friendly staff. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Parkes Coffee Pot:
The coffee was less than average and tepid (cool). It was cold and no heating was in evidence. The food (breakfast) was jus passable. Wouldn't go back as there are alternatives, with more to recommend them! View all feedback.
Whilst visiting Parkes recently, we stopped in to the Coffee Pot Cafe located in the main shopping precinct of Parkes, for lunch. We chose iced coffees, toasted sandwich and a melt. The iced coffees were not the best we have ever tasted. However, the melt and sandwich were quite enjoyable. A little more effort is required, plus on the day we were there the service was extremely slow.
Booked the coffee pot for my mums 75th birthday afternoon tea. Had the high tea would highly recommend for the quality of the eats and value for money. Marlene Tracey go above and beyond with their service. Very impressed
Tasty fresh sandwiches, home made soup, light hot meals. Home cake, choose from assortment of cookies on display. Hot and cold drinks, help yourself to water from the cute little dispenser. The atmosphere is relaxed, staff are friendly and helpful. Sit inside or outside, in the lovely new dining area. The Coffee Pot also do catering.
This restaurant has the most deliciously and beautifully cooked grilled fish and very tasty salad, which was properly served and included beetroot, which is rare these days. Beetroot is what makes a salad so extra good to eat. Their milkshakes were just perfect. The staff were run off their feet, there were queues out the door but the staff were patient, friendly, efficient and as fast as they could go. A nice cozy place to eat.
Traveled through Parkes recently stopped here on way through back. Firstly the staff are really nice. Secondly the coffee is great. We shared a hamburger chips on the return it was really yum, might I add the chips were excellent. It has a nice cosy feel about it. Seemed to be quite a few ordering food to take away. Was good to find something open after 3pm as a lot of places close up early.
