I visited this restaurant for lunch before a talk, and it was fast, convenient, and efficient. I ordered a tomato and lemon ricotta open-faced sandwich, and the staff offered to add a second piece of bread and toast it. They didn’t mention there would be an extra $1 charge for that, but I assumed it was standard. I also ordered drinks, and the brownie I had for dessert was quite delicious. What User doesn't like about Paperplate:
I had an awful experience with the coffee here—it was both subpar and overpriced. I was hoping for a great cup of coffee to energize me after my exams, but it ended up being so bad that I couldn't even finish it. I paid around $5 for it, which is just not worth it. View all feedback.

While the paperboard setup isn’t as charming as its older sibling, 'Booktop,' I would definitely eat here again for the quick service.

The coffee is not as good as the one from the bookboard, and it's priced similarly. The food is average, but compared to the bookboard, it really lacks flavor. Overall, neither option is particularly impressive.
Better value than the place upstairs, however it's in a basement. You're best off taking your food/drink outside.
Ate here for lunch before a talk. Quick, convenient, efficient. Chose a tomato and lemon ricotta open sandwich which staff offered to add a second slice of bread and toast it. Didn 't mention there 'd be an additional $1 charge, but I expected that but would have preferred to be informed up front. Drinks were OK, and the brownie I had for dessert was quite tasty. Paperplate isn 't as fancy as it 's older brother 'bookplate ' upstairs, but I 'll be eating here again for the quicker service.
