The best chinese food by far . A great variety of dishes, fresh ingredients. Each dish tastes different and very generous serves
Very disappointing. After years of visiting this Chinese restaurant and getting take away, tonight's take away bordered on being a complete waste of time to eat. The spring rolls had the consistency of stodgy chiko rolls, filled only with pureed meat and rice, but absolutely no flavour. The steamed duck with veg had solid pieces of meat that was like cardboard and loads of 2cm square pieces of sliced ham?! Awfully disappointing. The Szechuan sauce on the prawn and cashew dish wasn't anything remotely like Szechuan, tasting just like an overload of Chinese 5 spice. Expensive waste of money.
Had a great dinner here. Staff were good very hospitable. Food was excellent. Great place to dine. Meals were good amounts. We had forgotten to book (during the Elvis festival week) which is chaotic but they took my number and said if you don't mind we will ring when a table is ready. They said a 45 minute wait. We walked down the street to go and have a drink and wait and within 10 minutes they rang and a table was available. Great service.
The restaurant serves generous portions of classic and well-made 'Aussie-Chinese' cuisine. The service is friendly and fast, and the prices are reasonable. My personal favorite dish was the 'Rainbow Beef' (pictured).
